Principal's Advisory Committee (Da PAC)

Student Principal's Advisory Committee, affectionately known as Da PAC! Da PAC is designed to be a safe and collaborative space where student voices are not only heard but actively shape the future of Beacon Hill Middle School. Through the unique perspective of our students, our principal leads this crew through brainstorming sessions with protocols to develop ideas on what truly makes a school great – how it looks, how it feels, and how it serves its community. The Student Principals Advisory Committee supports the shaping of our school climate and culture.

What is Da PAC?

Da PAC is a committee comprised of student representatives from each grade. These students will have the invaluable opportunity to work directly with the Principal to:
  • Share their perspectives on the school environment and experience.
  • Collaborate on ideas for school improvement initiatives.
  • Brainstorm solutions to challenges faced by students.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive school culture.

Who are the Members?

Each team of teachers will select two student representatives to serve on Da PAC each year. The teachers are looking for students who are:
  • Passionate about Beacon Hill.
  • Willing to speak openly and share their thoughts and ideas.
  • Comfortable collaborating and working effectively in groups.

All students are eligible to be nominated, even if they have previously served on Da PAC. We believe that student input is essential in creating a school where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered. Da PAC is an important avenue for ensuring that the student voice is central to our decision-making process. Stay tuned for updates on Da PAC's activities and the exciting ideas that will emerge from this collaborative effort!
